Fr. Peter S. Kucer MSA’s pastoral experiences include Parochial Vicar at the Immaculate Conception Church in Waterbury, Temporary Administrator at St. Joseph’s Church in Chester, and serving the Archdiocese for the Military Services as a sub-contract chaplain. He has a doctorate (STD) in Systematic Theology from the Catholic University of America, a License (STL) from the Dominican House of Studies in Washington D.C. an M.A. and M.Div. from Holy Apostles College and Seminary. Since 2014, Fr. Peter has served as Academic Dean (CAO) of Holy Apostles College and Seminary. He has also held a number of other roles including compliance officer for the State of Connecticut and has served on a number of committees. His experience in priestly formation includes being trained and certified by the Sulpicians at their Institute for Seminary Formators, attending the International Symposium on the Ratio Fundamentalis Institutiones SacerdotalisSaint Vincent de Paul Seminary, serving as external formator at HACS, serving as the U.S. Province’s MSA Formation Director, and recently collaborating with Fr. Theophile, U.S. MSA General Formation Director. His academic interests include: relationship of theology to culture, relationship of doctrine to politics/economics, and relationship of faith to scientific reasoning. His cultural interests including playing the violin and enjoying the fine arts.
